Vector Pixel Characters
I absolutely LOVED doing this. Pixel art is such a fun thing that I never get to do, and figuring out to make shapes and depth out of squares was really fun. The flame/blob guy(1st slide) was the first one I made and I made him as I was following a tutorial on how to do this. Then I made the dragon guy because I didn't know what I actually wanted to make for this project and a little practice can't hurt. Finally I made the drunk wizard skeleton who's just vibin'. |

Tank
In Q1 we made a tank, and in Q3 we unwrapped it and colored it in photoshop. Even though unwrapping is a pain to do, this project was really fun. Since I had extra time before it was due, I decided to add lights and a background, which is probably why I liked this assignment so much. The most challenging part was figuring out where to put seams so nothing would get warped. |
Badges
This project was a fun challenge and I got a lot of practice with tools in Illustrator. I decided to use a palomino as the horse in the "Got 'Em" badge because I know a western horse who's a palomino and I thought it would be fun to incorporate that(she also has a lot of teal things like the halter and rope in the badge). "Full Out Cowboy" was really fun to make especially the sunset, and "Cow Buddy" is just silly. |

Burger
For this assignment we were told to make a burger and then put it on a menu, along with other items. I decided to make him a mischievous guy so I gave him arms, legs, and fries. This project definitely advanced my knowledge with Illustrators tools because I messed around with a bunch of stuff --> Sprinkle tool(I still don't know what it's called :P), mesh gradient, and just general ability to move/make shapes. |
